Enjoy and learn about our common garden birds, how to identify them and tips on how to feed the birds and keep them healthy during the winter months. This will take place in the barn as the indoor element of the session, with a short presentation and interactive activities.
There will also be an opportunity to put your knowledge into practise by joining us for an informal survey over the second half of the event. This will take place from the bird hide and nearby surrounding habitats by the café where we have feeders to contribute to the RSPB’s Big Garden Birdwatch! If you do have your own binoculars please bring them, but we have some spares. Then why not take part in your own survey back in your garden or nearby greenspace if you don’t have one on the 25th, 26th or 27th January and submit your records.
This event is most suitable for beginners.
Book your place here.
