Step into history at Brinklow Castle with our Fun Day full of exciting family activities!

The event is being run in collaboration with Guarderobe, a local re-enactment group to provide you with the opportunity to immerse yourself in the heritage of this site.

There’s plenty to keep the family entertained. Kids will get to paint a shield, watch a fight demo and then get the chance to take part in a sword drill! Places are free but booking is essential for the children to take part.

Please note:

– The places you need to book are just for the children to take part and it’s for each individual, not bubbles of children. There are two slots running the same activities to help manage numbers attending, one at 11am – 1pm and the other between 1pm – 3pm.

– Parents / guardians must stay on site to supervise their children for this event.

– In order to adhere to Guarderobe and the Trust’s Covid safe working procedures, places are limited so booking is essential. Please do not attend if you are displaying symptoms of the virus.

– All being well, the event will be running as planned, but please be aware that it is subject to change due to Covid potentially impacting on the delivery. We will be in touch if the event is no longer running.
