Volunteers and the Dunsmore team planted 200m of new hedgerow just above the River Leam floodplain to re-connect two mature hedgerows. Native hedgerow bare-root ‘whips’ were planted at 4 per metre into a biodegradable weed membrane to reduce competition from grass and nettles.
