We recently ran a Garden Bioblitz in collaboration with the local community across the scheme area.
A Bioblitz is a period of biological surveying in an attempt to record all the living species within a designated area. Usually a groups of scientists, naturalists and volunteers conduct an intensive field study over a continuous time period (e.g. usually 24 hours). In this case, the surveying took place between the 23rd – 26th July where they picked a 24hr period to do their own Bioblitz.
