Thanks to funding from Warwickshire County Council’s Green Shoots Challenge Fund, we have been able to…

• Give out over 1000 trees to local residents to plant in their gardens
• Planted new hedgerows and widened existing ones to increase carbon being stored in the soil (as well as in the hedge plants)
• Created new micro tree nurseries at four schools – Lillington, Binley Woods, Wolston St Margaret and Our Lady & St Teresa (Cubbington) – and run sessions with pupils about growing trees from seed.
