In early June, we assisted the team at Ryton Pools Country Park in the creation of a new wild flower meadow. The area in question was a bit overgrown with unwanted vegetation such as nettles, brambles, blackthorn and willowherb, so we set out with gloves and shears to pull and chop the rampant plants back, leaving space for more delicate wild flowers to thrive.
