Brandon Marsh Nature Centre is the headquarters of the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust. Set in 220 acres, the Reserve, consists of large pools created by gravel extraction. The Visitor Centre is a great place to visit including a Tea Room and well stocked gift shop.
Around the Visitor Centre you’ll find the Orchard, Education garden, Sensory garden, as well as an under-cover picnic area. Explore Mouse Manor, woven from willow with its stunning harvest mouse nest which is big enough to climb into!
Just outside the front of the Visitor Centre is a brand new, family-friendly, accessible bird hide called the Hideout which overlooks our bird feeders.
Younger children will enjoy our brass rubbing trail: find the brass plaques hidden near the visitor centre to create colourful pictures on your rubbing sheet. Then it’s off to our all-access Nature Trails which guide you around the wildlife habitats of the nature reserve. The Woodpecker Trail is a short loop which heads back to the visitor centre from the Wright hide and takes around 20 minutes. The Kingfisher Trail is a full loop taking around 40 minutes with fun, wildlife-themed actions to keep everyone entertained.
For those who wish to explore further there are other paths leading to our many bird hides.
