Hedge-laying training sessions during winter 2017-18 resulted in 75m of newly laid hedgerow near the visitor centre.

Professional hedge-layer Steve Boswell completed a further stretch of 400m at the site Brandon Marsh entrance. Although it looks drastic, new growth will spring up from the base and result in a thicker hedgerow, more suitable as bird nesting habitat.
